Handog Ng Panagbenga Sa Pamilya Baguio 2014

The Handog Ng Panagbenga sa Pamilya Baguio 2014, that is loosely translated as “The Gift of Panagbenga to Families of Baguio”, is an annual event featuring several activities happening at the Melvin Jones Grandstand. My Family had the chance to attend this whole day affair for third straight years and we are completely loving every part of it.

Our Hands After Painting

We attended the Let A Thousand Flowers Bloom event where you and your family get a chance to bond through painting, this is completely free, just register and you get a paint brush, a canvass and your choice of paints. It was a fun family bonding experience. After painting, at around 10am the kite flying competition began, it was a refreshing sight to see children flying their kites with the help of their parents.

In the afternoon the concert began, there were several presentations from the University of the Cordilleras and University of Baguio students and faculty, sadly SLU was not able to join.

The entire day of activities was capped with a spectacular fireworks display and it is nice to see families enjoying the fireworks display.

In the end, i guess everybody went home with a smile in their face and eager to wait for next year’s Handog Ng Panagbenga Sa Pamilya Baguio.
