The Panagbenga 2012 Celebration was launched and it revealed several New activities that will be incorporated in this annual celebration in Baguio City.
For Panagbenga 2012, each member of the community is encouraged to contribute in their own way for the success of this annual festival in Baguio City. With the theme: “Community Convergence For a Sustainable Tourism Growth” the Panagbenga is expected to draw maximum participation from all the communities within Baguio City from the different residents, barangays, government agencies and private establishments.
The Panagbenga 2012 Logo
During the launching, the Panagbenga logo was unveiled last November 14, by the Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. head Mr. Anthony De Leon, BFFFI Office Mr. Freddie Alquiros and Mayor Mauricio Domogan. The Logo is made up of five human figures wherein their arms are reaching out to each other symbolizing the unity of everyone for the celebration of the Panagbenga Festival.
New Activities for Panagbenga
During the launching it was announced that there are going to be some changes and new activities. The elementary division parade will be done during the first day of February and awarding will also be done on the same day. The High School, College and Open-Category parades will be done on the 26th of February.
A fiesta-like celebration dubbed as Handog ng Panagbenga sa Baguio will be one of the new activities and among the highlights of the month-long celebration. It was planned that the “Handog” will be a day of music, entertainment and of course a showcase of different street foods.
Other activities will be announced as February draws near but for the schedule of the traditional events please click on the link: Panagbenga 2012 Schedule of Activities.

Normally, saan ang starting point ng street dancing and float parade? Where is camp john hay rotunda? Cant find it on google map. Nakapag pabook na kasi kami and now gumagawa na kami ng itinerary para masulit namin ang Baguio. Btw, first time din kasi namin magbaguio 🙂
Try to locate Panagbenga Park, PFVR Gym or SPED School, those are the landmarks near the Camp John Hay Rotunda.
