I visited the Panagbenga Secretariat in Baguio City yesterday and i am glad i did because there is an update on the different activities during the Panagbenga. In addition to the different traditional activities during the Baguio Flower Festival, the Panagbenga 2012 will also have various community led activities, ranging from concerts, dog shows, mix martial arts competition, ramp modelling competitions among others, these community led activities would not only add to the spectacle of the Panagbenga but also would increase the “FUN Factor” of the Festival, as we all know “ITS MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES!”
According to the Panagbenga Secretariat the list of community led activities is final and the line up actually makes this year’s Panagbenga more fun! I guess this statement is true: FESTIVALS, MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES!

The Community led activities for the Panagbenga 2012 is the final list as provided by the Secretariat. Note that some activities may also be subject to change without prior notice depending on unforeseen factors.
Sir/Madam:
Greetings of Peace!
May I just know what time will be the Grand Street Dancing and Grand Float Parade on Feb. 25 and 26 respectively? This is to prepare our group’s itinerary for the Baguio trip this year.
Anticipating of your favorable assistance. Thank you!
Gen Aguirre
Hi,
Usually the parade starts at 7:00 am unless of course there would be changes due to some unforeseen circumstances.
Hope this helps, see you in Panagbenga 2012
if you can make it earlier than 7am, the better. Anticipate that lotsa people will be out early to scout and take the most convenient spots. Good places to watch the parade: Postal Park (Upper session near the dap-ayan rotunda going to SM), entrance of Melvin Jones Grand Stand and Athletic Bowl. *NB: we usually watch the parade at athletic bowl, you can watch while sitting plus the conveniences of the shade, roaming food vendors and the finale exhibition of each participant 😀
This is a great guide to parade audience, thanks for sharing
among the activities, which is the most anticipated?, highlights of Panagbenga? I’m 25, and I’m bringing my mom and my younger sister, thanks
Hello Bogs,
The most anticipated event would be that of the Grand Parades, the session road in bloom leading up to the Closing ceremonies.
Hi. I am handling the MUNTINLUPA DANCE COMPANY (MDC) for 15 years now and we really wanted to perform in the Panagbenga Festival even for free. Please let me know how we can do this. Thank you.

Hi
For the grand parade -what time is it expected to end?what hotels do you recommend to stay? Tnx!
The grand parade will end at around noon time (this is the movement of the parade through the parade route) , however the presentations may last until 3 pm at athletic bowl depending on the number of participants. As for the Hotel recommendations, i would suggest booking a hotel room that is overlooking session road or other parade routes so that you can watch the parade from your room.

Hi! I just want to ask what time the grand float parade on feb 26 will start and where is the location ? Where it will start? Even the dancing parade on feb25, where it will start, pls let us know so we could get a hotel nearby, tnx
Grand parades will start at 8am although it would be best to be at your chosen parade route at 7am or earlier due to the influx of spectators. Parade line will be Panagbenga Park to Upper Session road, depending on the number of participants.
May I ask what time will the Let A Thousand Flowers Bloom start and where will it take place?
Let a thousand flowers bloom will be held at Melvin Jones and it will start at 8:00am.

Hi! We’re planning to go on the 25th of February from Manila, and my sister from Pangasinan, mahihirapan ba kami to go there because someone told us, that the road up to Baguio will be close on that day?
Are there any bus/Victory Liner bus taking trips to go back Pangasinan at the end of that day, maybe 4pm?
Please let me know, and it would be appreciated. Thank you so much!=)
Hello,
Roads that are affected by the parade routes will be closed, thus it is expected to cause traffic in some areas. Bus travel going to and from Baguio will not be suspended although it is expected that there will be a lot of passengers going to and from Baguio City.
on feb 25, street dance… how long will it take for the program to finish coz my family wish to go to some of the hot spots in baguio like tam-awan village, burnham park, mansion, etc… is it possible the we able to go and visit these palces after the street dance…? will it be super traffic after the dance?
If you are staying at the parade route the street dance parade would last for about four hours but if you are in the athletic bowl the presentation would be up to 3pm. Yes it is possible to go the the places you mentioned after the parade.
we will go tommorow to attend the panagbenga festival ….hope we will enjoy!!!
who are the board of judges for the Panagbenga 2012 grand street dancing competition?
panu po magregister sa variety show ng panagbenga sa singing contest?cnu nakakaalam tnx!!!
