Road Conditions, No Classes Announcements Due To Typhoon Luis

As of  this writing typhoon Luis is at 100 km northwest of Laoag City and is expected to move out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility today. Baguio City is currently experiencing continuous moderate to strong rains. According to PAGASA, Baguio City is under signal number 1.

As of 6am today (September 15, 2014) here are the public service announcements by the city government of Baguio and other concerned government agencies.

On Road Conditions:

Naguilian Road – Open to traffic

Marcos Highway – Open to Traffic

Kennon Road – Closed due to landslides

On Suspension of Classes

Saint Louis University announced that classes in their elementary and high school and College are suspended.

University of Baguio also announced that Classes in their Elementary to College Level are Suspended today.

Baguio Central University classes in their College level is also suspended

UP Baguio classes in the College and Graduate School Level are suspended

City Mayor Mauricio Domogan announced that classes in Elementary and High School are Suspended
