In High School we were taught that trees and plants plays an important role in the production of Oxygen. The very gas we need in order to sustain life, this is what we breath. On this premise alone one can easily discern the significance of trees. The question is why is it that people continue to cut down these trees knowing that such is needed for people to live, to breathe? Are we really prepared to live in a world where even the air we breathe are rationed? Would we allow greed get the best of us and just allow the slow death of the human race when the last tree is cut?
We should always remember that we cannot breathe money.
