Showcasing the Cordillera Produce In the New Pancake House Seasonal Dish

It’s time for the Cordillera region to shine in Pancake House’s newest seasonal dishes. After a successful showcase of the different dishes of Cebu in the Pancake House menu, the Cordillera region takes center stage with different dishes that incorporates the ingredients originating from the province of Benguet and partly popularized by its close association in the City of Baguio.

The Baguio / Cordillera Inspired Dishes

Baguio takes center stage in the Pancake House menu with their Baguio Crunch Salad, Strawberry Tea Smoothie and Strawberry Brittle Pancake. All dishes includes ingredients that are unique if not popularized in the Cordillera region. Generous servings of strawberries, peanut brittle and fresh healthy green lettuce are used to create the different dishes that showcases the Cordillera region.

The Strawberry Tea Smoothie

Strawberry Tea and turned into a smoothie, this will definitely quench your thirst and satisfy your craving for a strawberry drink. Since it is more of an infusion, there is a faint strawberry taste as compared to a strawberry smoothie where lots of strawberries were used. This drink however is a thirst quencher and a must try. The price? its P117.00

The Baguio Crunch Salad

This dish is a celebration of the different produce found in the Cordillera region. From the fresh green lettuce of produced in the different farms of Benguet and sold in the City of Baguio. To the red and juicy strawberries that are picked from the strawberry farms of La Trinidad. This dish will definitely spell sweet on salad. The dish is a mixture of strawberries, oranges, pears and for added crunch, the famous Baguio peanut brittle. All of which are placed on a bed of chopped green romaine lettuce. To add sweetness to the salad, pour in the strawberry salad dressing. One heaping order of this salad will cost you P240.

The Strawberry Brittle Pancake

What is Pancake House without any Pancakes? Well true enough to really showcase our region and our city (Baguio City), they created the Strawberry Brittle Pancake. A generous serving of cut strawberries on top of 3 pieces of pancakes, then topped with cream and crushed peanut brittle for that sweet crunch. This treat will cost you P180.

    Might try this and compare if it is at par with the organic salad from my favorite cafe
